About BrowserStyle
BrowserStyle is a small collection of free tools for the styling side of building websites — colours, palettes and CSS. Every tool runs in your browser, needs no sign-up, and never sends what you type to a server.
The tools
- Tailwind CSS colors — every shade of the default v4 and v3 palettes, with HEX, RGB, OKLCH, class names and CSS variables you can copy in one click.
- Tailwind shade generator — turns one colour into a full 50–950 scale, ready to paste into a Tailwind v4 or v3 project or into plain CSS.
More tools are on the way. If there is one you would like to see, tell us.
How we keep the numbers right
- Colour values come from the source. The Tailwind palettes are read straight from the published
tailwindcsspackages (v4.3.3 and v3.4.19), not typed in by hand. - The maths is tested. Our colour conversions are checked against an independent colour library on thousands of colours before anything goes live.
- We show our working. Where a value is an approximation — such as the HEX fallback for a wide-gamut colour, or a generated shade — the page says so and explains how it was made.
- Every tool is tested in a real browser on phone and desktop screen sizes before release.
Who runs BrowserStyle
BrowserStyle is part of the same small network as Internet Tool Wizard, a collection of free calculators, converters and developer tools. Both sites are built the same way: free, fast, private, and checked for accuracy.
BrowserStyle is independent. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Tailwind Labs or any other framework it supports.
Free to use
All tools are free for personal and commercial work, and anything you create with them is yours. We count visits with Google Analytics to see which tools people use — see our privacy policy — and the terms of use cover the rest.
