Privacy policy
Short version: what you type into our tools never leaves your device. We count visits with Google Analytics. We do not show ads, sell data, or ask you to sign up.
Last updated: 4 October 2026
What you type stays on your device
Every BrowserStyle tool works entirely in your web browser. The colours, names and code you enter are processed on your own device and are never sent to us or to anyone else.
Visit statistics (Google Analytics)
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used — for example, which tools are popular and which pages people leave quickly. It collects:
- the pages you visit and how long you stay,
- the website or search that sent you here,
- your approximate location (country and city, worked out from your IP address),
- your device, browser and screen size.
Google Analytics stores cookies (such as _ga) on your device to tell visits apart. We use this
information only in summary form, to improve the site. Google processes it under its own
privacy policy; you can read
how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
To opt out, you can block cookies in your browser or install Google's Analytics opt-out add-on. The tools keep working either way.
Hosting
The site is served by Amazon Web Services (Amazon CloudFront and S3). Like any web server, it handles standard technical data such as your IP address in order to deliver the pages to you.
What we don't do
- We don't have accounts, forms or newsletters, so we don't collect names or email addresses.
- We don't show advertising on BrowserStyle.
- We don't sell or share personal information.
Children
BrowserStyle is a general tool for web developers and designers and is not aimed at children under 13.
Changes
If we change how we handle data, we will update this page and the date at the top.
